Ms. Edwards brings nearly 30 years of employment litigation experience in both the public and private sectors, along with over a decade in corporate human resources. She has dedicated her career to resolving complex employment disputes, advising employers, and navigating the intricacies of labor law.
A Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Mediator since 2002 and an arbitrator on the AAA Employment, Consumer, and Commercial panels since 2006, Ms. Edwards has developed a strong reputation for her ability to facilitate fair, efficient dispute resolution. Her extensive background as both an advocate and neutral gives her a comprehensive perspective on workplace conflicts, wage and hour matters, discrimination claims, and other employment disputes.
Ms. Edwards has also served as trial counsel in Florida state and federal courts, handling a wide range of employment litigation cases. Her approach to alternative dispute resolution is rooted in efficiency, business acumen, and a commitment to helping parties reach meaningful solutions.
With a passion for fostering constructive conversations, she actively engages in professional and community initiatives, including serving on the Executive Council for the Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section. She has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the 850 Magazine Pinnacle Award and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite in Labor and Employment Law.
